College Admissions Counselor

Job Summary
RayD is seeking confident individuals with strong interpersonal skills to guide high school students on the path to college. Admissions Counselors hold one on one advisory meetings with students, develop academic strategies for students, and lead seminars and give workshops around twice a year. Counselors are responsible for helping students set their college admissions goals and create competitive college application profiles. To accomplish this, counselors help students set and achieve personalized academic, extracurricular, and testing goals.

Responsibilities
Assist families through the college selection and admissions process by determining ideal colleges for students to target, devising road maps for students’ coursework, researching extracurricular opportunities, reviewing college essays, and supporting students in various other matters related to the college admissions process.

Qualifications
Required:
– Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral degree(s) from an Ivy League university (or equivalents)
– Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong interpersonal communication skills
– At least one year admission counselling experiences, or familiarity with the college admissions process

Highly Desired:
– Experience in an admissions office

Academic Advisers

Job Summary
We’re looking for faculties/researchers in multiple fields as part time, online advisers to guide our high school students for academic projects. All meetings are online. Compensation is competitive and working schedule is flexible.

Qualifications
– Faculties or researchers at top universities
– Strong interpersonal communication skills
